Adtec EN-81s Encode Tornado Footage
Recently, Mike Meinhardt and the team at Meinhardt Productions, Inc. were on the front line covering the deadly April 2014 tornadoes in Arkansas for CBS News. Shortly after shooting the
dramatic news footage, Meinhardt Productions transmitted video back to New York, using the Adtec EN-81 encoders housed in their satellite Suburban --a specialized SUV outfitted as a crew vehicle and satellite truck.
Meinhardt Productions received accolades from the CBS News senior editors for being on the spot to cover the immediate aftermath of the tornado that hit Mayflower, AR.
